WE ARE RED BY NIGHT

The Band was forged like so many products of the 'Workshop of the World' in the once heavily industrialised districts of Birmingham and the Black Country.

Their name comes from the depiction of the area by the 19th Century American Consul to Birmingham, Elihu Burritt who famously described the region as “Black by day and Red by night, due to the same furnaces that clouded the sky black with smoke during daylight hours that burned bright red as darkness fell".

THE BAND

Following the band’s inception in the Spring of 2022, the band has progressed in short time to headlining festivals across the West Midlands and Shropshire and packing out iconic venues such as the O2 Academy and O2 Institute in Birmingham as well as renowned venues like Albert’s Shed in Shropshire.

Strongly influenced by the founding fathers of Rock and Metal from the Midlands, Red by Night are carrying the torch for Rock n’ Roll for the future generations; This extravagantly gifted 4 piece have the technical ability to deliver a high energy show the equal of anything more seasoned Bands have to offer.

Developing a formidable local following and reputation as a ‘must see’ live act, Red by Night are cutting their teeth on the live stage and in the studio.
